The Cote Sud vineyard, located on the south facing slope of the Evenstad Estate, is our only vineyard planted to both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Cote Sud Chardonnay has an intriguing aroma profile that delivers notes of peach, Asian pear, exotic spice and minerality. The palate is multi-layered, with balanced acidity, impressive viscosity and persistent length. The clonal diversity of the Cote Sud vineyard and its steep, south facing exposure results in a Chardonnay exhibiting the characteristics of a Puligny-Montrachet.
Passion and Commitment led Ken and Grace Evenstad to Oregon, more than two decades ago. Propelled by a desire to produce the world’s best Pinot Noir, they founded Domaine Serene in Dundee Hills, located in the Northern Willamette Valley, where Oregon Pinot Noir began - and where its heart remains today.
