Wine Advocate 92 points - Similarly concentrated, yet showing slightly more integration of its fruit and acidity, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon (83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 4% Malbec and a splash of Petit Verdot) comes from estate vineyards and spent 18 months in 41% new French oak. Itís a deep, voluptuous effort that possesses notions of plum sauce, currant, licorice and liquid smoke as well as a full-bodied, decadent and yet beautifully pure, fresh texture on the palate. As with the Merlot, this is a big wine that isnít holding much back; however, itís a superb drink that will impress for 7-8+ years. Drink now-2021.  (Jun 2013)

At Pepper Bridge Winery our focus is to make ultra-premium, world-class red wines with grapes sourced solely from the Walla Walla Appellation.

The Walla Walla Valley is critically acclaimed for growing some of the highest quality red wine grapes. Our estate vineyards, Pepper Bridge Vineyard and Seven Hills Vineyard, are recognized as two of the best in the region.

Our vision to build a state-of-the-art, gravity-flow winery began several years ago when Norm McKibben, Managing Partner planted his first grapes in the Walla Walla Valley. The vision grew into reality with the completion of Pepper Bridge Winery in September of 2000. Weíve built the winery to encompass a gravity flow system that is extremely gentle on the grapes and wine. From the crush pad on our top level to the barrels located 32í below in the caves, the wine flows effortlessly and gently.
